Baghdad , The Joint Operations Command confirmed its rejection of all reckless acts and practices targeting Iraqi bases, diplomatic missions, locations of international coalition advisers, and anything that would raise tension in the region, drag Iraq into dangerous situations and repercussions, or harm the interests of the various states. It said in a statement that the attack on the Iraqi Ain al-Assad air base in Anbar Governorate, in some of whose sections a number of international coalition advisers are present, was carried out by two missiles launched from a truck from inside Haditha district yesterday. It continued: While we affirm our adherence to Iraq's sovereignty and independence, we categorically reject any attack from inside or outside Iraq on Iraqi lands, interests and targets, and from any party that carries out this attack or breach or helps in it in one way or another.
