Joint Jordanian-Libyan Military Exercise Concludes Successfully

Amman: The joint Jordanian-Libyan military exercise "Al-Tarabot" (Interconnection) concluded on Saturday, following comprehensive training conducted by the King Abdullah II Special Forces and the Special Forces of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces.

According to Jordan News Agency, the closing ceremony was attended by Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Khaled Khalifa Haftar, and Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations and Training, Brigadier General Naji Manasir. The attendees included senior officers from both countries who were briefed on the exercise's phases and objectives before observing the final activities.

Lieutenant General Haftar commended the participating forces for their readiness and professionalism, highlighting their ability to efficiently execute assigned missions. Brigadier General Manasir emphasized the significance of joint exercises in enhancing military coordination, operational cooperation, and expertise exchange to improve the defense capabilities and combat readiness of both armed forces.

The exercise took place in a simulated urban combat environment, featuring tactical scenarios such as building assaults, hostage rescue, counterterrorism operations, and emergency response. Participating forces demonstrated precision, coordination, and operational proficiency.

The exercise aimed to bolster joint military cooperation, exchange operational and training expertise, and improve the readiness of the forces to address evolving security threats using modern military concepts and tactics. The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army stated that the exercise underscores its commitment to expanding military cooperation with allied and friendly nations, reinforcing strategic partnerships, and sharing expertise in special operations and counterterrorism to support regional and international security and stability.
