Amman: An official military source at the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army reported that national air defense systems intercepted and downed three Iranian missiles targeting Jordanian territory on Tuesday afternoon.
According to Jordan News Agency, the source confirmed that the interception operation resulted in no casualties or material damage. The Royal Engineering Corps teams managed the fallen debris across several locations in accordance with established procedures.
The source added that the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army continues to monitor Jordanian airspace and maintains a high level of readiness to address any threat that could affect the Kingdom's security and sovereignty.
