Amman:Lower House Speaker Mazen Qadi and Australian Ambassador to Jordan Paula Ganley held discussions on Wednesday to enhance parliamentary cooperation between Jordan and Australia.
According to Jordan News Agency, Qadi praised the growing partnership between the two countries and highlighted the benefits it brings across multiple sectors.
He referred to King Abdullah II's speech at the UN General Assembly, describing it as a "clear roadmap" for achieving regional stability through a just two-state solution to the Palestinian issue.
Ganley expressed Australia's commitment to deepening cooperation with Jordan and praised the King's efforts in promoting regional peace. She reiterated Australia's support for a two-state solution.
