Amman: Secretary-General of the Lower House of Parliament Awad Ghweiri hosted a delegation from the General Secretariat of Bahrain's Shura Council on Tuesday, led by Head of Session Affairs Abdulrahim Buchiri. The meeting focused on administrative modernization and strengthening bilateral cooperation. According to Jordan News Agency, Ghweiri highlighted the ongoing efforts within the House to advance administrative modernization, aligning with the broader reform initiatives championed by His Majesty King Abdullah II as the Kingdom embarks on its second centennial. He detailed the restructuring of the House's administration and the implementation of comprehensive updates to cater to the needs of the chamber and parliamentary blocs. Ghweiri emphasized that these administrative changes reflect the Royal vision of comprehensive modernization. This vision aims to develop and streamline the administrative apparatus, enhance productivity, and boost performance efficiency. He also noted that visits such as this und erscore the strong Jordanian-Bahraini relations and the importance of expanding cooperation in exchanging expertise and parliamentary knowledge.
