Beijing: Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi met with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi in Beijing on Sunday to discuss expanding cooperation and regional stability ahead of His Majesty King Abdullah II's scheduled talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping. The meeting aimed at strengthening the strategic partnership established between the two countries in 2015.
According to Jordan News Agency, the top diplomats explored agreements slated for signing during the visit. Wang Yi expressed China's appreciation for its relations with Jordan, describing King Abdullah's visit as an "important milestone" in the history of bilateral ties. This visit underscores the depth and significance of the relationship between the two nations.
Safadi conveyed King Abdullah's commitment to enhancing relations with China, emphasizing that the upcoming discussions with President Xi will focus on practical measures to increase cooperation. He highlighted King Abdullah's significant role in promoting security and stability in the region.
