Amman: Chairperson of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Huneiti, met with Finnish Ambassador to Amman, Anne Meskanen, to discuss military cooperation and regional stability. The meeting focused on enhancing military ties and addressing shared international concerns.

According to Jordan News Agency, the discussions aimed to expand coordination in military training and the exchange of expertise, as well as to strengthen bilateral defense relations. Major General Huneiti emphasized the historical ties between Jordan and Finland and the importance of reinforcing their strategic partnership to support both regional and global stability.

Ambassador Meskanen praised Jordan's significant role in promoting peace and security in the region under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II. She expressed her visit's goal to further strengthen defense cooperation, building on the robust relationship between the two countries.
