Baghdad: Jordan's Ambassador to Iraq, Maher Al-Tarawneh, met on Thursday with Secretary General of the Iraqi Council of Ministers, Hamid Al-Ghazi, to discuss ways to enhance bilateral relations between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Republic of Iraq.
According to Jordan News Agency, a statement issued by the Jordanian Embassy in Iraq highlighted the two sides' review of the depth and strength of Jordanian-Iraqi relations. They affirmed their commitment to expanding cooperation in a manner that serves the interests of both countries and their brotherly peoples.
Al-Ghazi expressed appreciation for the longstanding historical ties between the two nations, underscoring the importance of continued communication and coordination on various issues of mutual concern to further strengthen bilateral cooperation and consolidate shared interests.
