Amman:Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordan Armed Forces - Arab Army (JAF), Major General Majdi Harasis, met with Italian Ambassador to Jordan Pier Luigi Zamporlini to discuss potential advancements in military relations.
According to Jordan News Agency, the discussions between the two officials focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of training and capacity building, which are aimed at improving operational readiness and efficiency of the armed forces.
Ambassador Zamporlini praised Jordan's military for its significant contribution to regional security and stability, and expressed Italy's commitment to strengthening military partnerships and pursuing joint initiatives. The meeting was attended by senior JAF officers and the Italian Defense Attaché to Amman.
