Amman: The Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC), Dhaifallah Farajat, engaged in discussions with Mexico's Ambassador to Jordan, Jacobo Prado Gonz¡lez, focusing on potential cooperation in air transport and the development of bilateral relations to serve mutual interests.
According to Jordan News Agency, both parties emphasized the significance of completing the necessary procedures to sign the draft air services agreement between Jordan and Mexico. This agreement aims to enhance tourism traffic and facilitate the establishment of direct flights between Amman and Mexico City.
Farajat highlighted CARC's eagerness to expand cooperation with Mexico, mentioning that the existing relations between the two nations provide a solid foundation for further collaboration in the civil aviation sector. He assured the commission's support for initiatives that strengthen the interests of both countries.
The ambassador acknowledged the strong ties between Mexico and Jordan and expressed Mexico's readiness to collaborate in enhancing these relations. He also supported efforts to develop the air transport sector and explore new opportunities for economic and tourism cooperation.
Both parties stressed the importance of ongoing joint coordination and overcoming challenges to achieve their goals, expressing optimism for increased cooperation in the aviation sector in the future.
