Amman: The Assistant for Operations and Training of the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF)-Arab Army engaged in discussions with a visiting military delegation from New Zealand, led by Rear Admiral Mathew Williams, Vice Chief of the New Zealand Defence Force. The meeting took place at the JAF's General Command on Wednesday.
According to Jordan News Agency, the discussions centered on enhancing joint military and training cooperation between the two nations. Both parties expressed a commitment to strengthening coordination in operational and technical domains. The dialogue also included the development of mutual training programs and initiatives for experience sharing.
The agenda emphasized improving the two armies' interoperability and readiness. There was also a focus on supporting collaborative efforts aimed at promoting regional security and stability.
