Jordan and South Africa Engage in Political Consultations in Amman

Amman: The Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs on Tuesday conducted a round of political consultations with the Republic of South Africa. The meeting was led by Majid Qatarneh, Secretary-General of the ministry, and South Africa's Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Candith Mashego-Dlamini.

According to Jordan News Agency, the discussions, which took place in Amman, were centered on enhancing bilateral relations between Jordan and South Africa in various sectors, including economic, trade, investment, education, and tourism, with a particular focus on religious tourism.

Both nations agreed to maintain cooperation and coordination on issues of mutual interest, exchange support for UN nominations, and monitor regional developments closely.
