Jordan and Thailand Discuss Expanding Agricultural Cooperation

Amman: Agriculture Minister Saeb Khreisat and Thai Ambassador Jirapon Jirampaikool have engaged in discussions aimed at expanding agricultural cooperation between Jordan and Thailand. The focus of the talks was on modern farming technologies, scientific research, expertise exchange, value chains, and agricultural marketing.

According to Jordan News Agency, during the meeting, Khreisat highlighted opportunities for Jordan to benefit from Thailand's experience in enhancing agricultural production and increasing the efficiency of agricultural value chains and marketing. He emphasized the importance of exchanging technical expertise, knowledge, and agricultural practices to support the development of Jordan's agricultural sector.

The Thai ambassador expressed her country's interest in strengthening agricultural cooperation with Jordan and developing partnerships in areas of mutual interest. The meeting also addressed prospects for future cooperation between the two countries.
