Amman: The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army has executed the seventh medical evacuation operation for child patients from Gaza, evacuating 35 patients and 72 family members. This effort is part of the Jordan Medical Corridor initiative, carried out in collaboration with Jordan's Ministry of Health and the World Health Organisation.
According to Jordan News Agency, this operation marks the largest group of patients evacuated since the initiative's inception in March, following Royal directives. To date, 112 children and 241 family members have been medically evacuated by both land and air to Jordan.
The latest group of patients and their families were transported into Jordan through the King Hussein Bridge. Despite facing various technical and logistical challenges, the Armed Forces remain committed to working with relevant entities to continue the evacuation of more child patients from Gaza.
