Jordan Armed Forces Expand International Cooperation with Five Airdrop Operations to Gaza

Amman: The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) conducted five airdrop operations on Saturday, delivering approximately 36 tonnes of relief and food aid to Gaza. These operations were part of international efforts to enhance humanitarian response in the region, involving several countries to support the initiative.

According to Jordan News Agency, the operations were executed using five aircraft, two of which were from the Royal Jordanian Air Force. The remaining aircraft were provided by France, the United Arab Emirates, and Germany, demonstrating a collaborative international effort to aid civilians in the Strip.

The JAF's airdrops are part of Jordan's strategic efforts to mobilize global support for delivering essential aid to mitigate the dire situation in Gaza. Since the beginning of the conflict, JAF has performed 137 airdrops independently and participated in 283 joint airdrops with other nations, underscoring the importance of international cooperation in addressing humanitarian needs.
