Jordan Armed Forces Reports Missile, Drone Incidents, No Casualties

Amman: The Jordan Armed Forces - Arab Army reported that Iran targeted Jordanian territory with five missiles and a drone over the past 24 hours.

According to Jordan News Agency, the Military Media Directorate at the General Command of the Armed Forces stated that the Royal Jordanian Air Force successfully intercepted five of the missiles and drones, while one missile evaded defenses. Separately, the Public Security Directorate reported that relevant units responded to 15 incidents involving falling debris and projectiles during the same period.

Authorities took necessary measures to secure affected areas and manage the debris resulting from the missile and drone activity. No injuries were reported, and damage was limited to minor material losses. The spokesperson urged the public to avoid gathering near, handling, or tampering with any unidentified objects or debris due to the associated dangers. Citizens were advised to report suspicious items immediately to security services via the emergency number 911 and to rely solely on official information, while refraining from spreading rumors or misleading reports.
