Amman: The General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces - Arab Army has issued a call to action for Jordanian males born in 2007 to regularly check the National Service platform for updates on their service obligations. This initiative is aimed at ensuring those selected through an electronic lottery are well-informed of the necessary steps they must take, including reporting to the medical examination and recruitment committees.
According to Jordan News Agency, the Mobilization and Popular Army Directorate emphasized the importance of accessing the platform electronically to verify registration details. This proactive measure is crucial for complying with the national service requirements. Individuals who fail to comply may face legal penalties under the National Service and Reserve Service Law No. 23 of 1986 and its subsequent amendments.
The medical examination phase for the first group of recruits is set to occur from December 17 through December 23, 2025. The recruitment phase will follow from January 11 to January 22, 2026, with enlistment at the National Service Training Center scheduled for January 31, 2026. The directorate also highlighted that the deadline for deferral requests through the National Service platform is noon on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.
