Jordan Attends First Aleppo Medical, Educational Expo

Aleppo: Jordan participated in the first Syrian-Jordanian medical and educational expo in Aleppo, Syria.

According to Jordan News Agency, the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development, alongside several Jordanian universities and aviation academies, attended the two-day event organized by the Syrian Jordanian for Exhibitions and Conferences in coordination with the Jordanian Embassy in Damascus.

Jordanian Ambassador to Syria Sufian Qudah inaugurated the exhibition, drawing a strong turnout from Syrian students and families. Touring the university booths, Qudah lauded the participating institutions for showcasing Jordan's distinguished academic reputation, facilities, and faculty. He voiced the embassy's commitment to expanding educational outreach and building on existing cultural cooperation agreements between Amman and Damascus.

Participating academic officials outlined their efforts to recruit Syrian students to Jordanian higher education institutions and expressed gratitude for the embassy's ongoing support. The initiative aligns with Jordan's 2023-2027 strategy to promote educational tourism and boost international student enrollment, a plan developed with the Jordan Tourism Board.

The Ministry announced plans to participate in similar fairs across several countries throughout 2026.
