Jordan, Bahrain Review Prospects for Enhanced Military Cooperation

Amman: Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti, on Sunday received a Bahraini military delegation headed by Assistant Chief of Staff for Human Resources Maj. Gen. Ali Al Khalifa at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army. The meeting focused on reviewing prospects for joint military cooperation and coordination between the armed forces of Jordan and Bahrain.

According to Jordan News Agency, discussions highlighted ways to strengthen bilateral ties and exchange expertise across various military and training fields. Both parties emphasized the importance of developing defense capabilities to serve the shared interests of their armed forces.

Maj. Gen. Huneiti reiterated the Jordan Armed Forces’ commitment to enhancing its partnership with the Bahrain Defense Force. He stressed the significance of expanding strategic military cooperation and expertise-sharing, especially in light of regional developments, to reinforce security and stability in the region.

Maj. Gen. Al Khalifa expressed his appreciation for Jordan’s contributions, praising the advanced level and high professionalism of the Jordan Armed Forces. He underscored the deeply rooted ties between the two kingdoms and the importance of the meeting.
