The vessel, which was carrying several Egyptian sailors, was reportedly diverted to Somali territorial waters. The Kingdom characterized the incident as a flagrant violation of international law and a severe threat to the security of maritime navigation and global trade routes.

According to Jordan News Agency, in an official statement, the Ministry of Foreign expressed the Kingdom’s full solidarity with the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt and the families of the abducted sailors.
