Amman: Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs has condemned the terrorist attack on the Mar Elias Church located on the outskirts of Damascus. The attack resulted in numerous casualties, with dozens reported dead or injured.
According to Jordan News Agency, Ministry spokesperson Sufian Qudah expressed Jordan’s solidarity with the Syrian Arab Republic following the assault. He reiterated the kingdom’s stance against all forms of violence and terrorism that threaten security and peace in the region.
Qudah emphasized Jordan’s support for the Syrian government’s initiatives to combat terrorism and maintain the country’s security, unity, stability, and territorial integrity. He also conveyed condolences to the Syrian government, its people, and the families of the victims, while wishing a quick recovery for those injured in the attack.
