Jordan Condemns Iranian Attacks on Bahrain and Kuwait

Amman: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi on Wednesday condemned the Iranian attacks targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait.

According to Jordan News Agency, in two separate phone calls with Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani and Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Safadi affirmed Jordan's full solidarity with Bahrain and Kuwait. He expressed support for all measures they take to safeguard their security, stability, sovereignty, and the safety of their citizens.

During his call with the Kuwaiti foreign minister, Safadi extended condolences over the victims of what was described as an attack on several civilian facilities and vital installations, including Kuwait International Airport, which resulted in one fatality. He wished the injured a speedy recovery.

Safadi stressed the importance of regional de-escalation and avoiding further escalation that could threaten regional security and stability.
