Amman: Jordan Customs won second place in the National Integrity Index in the government departments category for 2024/2025, in recognition of its efforts to promote integrity, transparency, and good governance. The Director General of Jordan Customs, Major General Ahmed Akalik, received the award at a ceremony organized by the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission on Monday.
According to Jordan News Agency, Akalik said the award reflects the dedication of customs staff in applying transparency and accountability, improving service quality, enhancing public trust, and contributing to Jordan's standing in international anti-corruption indicators.
