Amman: Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi met with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to deliberate on cooperation and regional developments. The meeting focused on assessing the progress of bilateral agreements following King Abdullah II's 2025 visit to Uzbekistan and emphasized the need to strengthen ties between the two nations.

According to Jordan News Agency, both parties examined the preparations for the inaugural Jordan-Uzbekistan Business Forum and explored the potential of the direct Amman-Tashkent flight to enhance bilateral trade, tourism, and investment. The discussions highlighted the importance of expanding cooperation in the economic, trade, investment, and cultural sectors, while also addressing pertinent regional and international issues.
