Amman: In a recent interview with Jordanian TV, a government official, Hassan, detailed the government's strategic plans to address critical issues such as public debt, technological advancement, and environmental cleanliness, while also highlighting the strength of Jordan's political relationships and international collaborations.
According to Jordan News Agency, Hassan emphasized the government's prioritization of managing the cost of debt servicing rather than focusing solely on the absolute size of public debt. The government is actively working on integrating artificial intelligence into the education sector, training thousands of teachers and launching pilot AI models through the "Siraj" application, benefiting approximately 150,000 students.
On the environmental front, the government has launched a cleanliness strategy to tackle waste management issues, a matter that has garnered attention from His Royal Highness the Crown Prince. Hassan called upon every Jordanian citizen to participate in this initiative, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the country's natural beauty. The strategy includes infrastructure improvements, strict enforcement of laws, and public awareness campaigns starting from schools.
In terms of political relations, Hassan highlighted the cooperative relationship between the government and the Lower House of Parliament, which is based on the national interest. He noted the successful completion of key legislation such as the budget bill and various laws that are expected to have a positive impact on governance and development.

Hassan reiterated Jordan's commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause and ensuring the humanitarian needs of Gaza are met. He emphasized the importance of a unified Arab effort to work with the international community towards a just solution.
Hassan further elaborated on the relationship between Jordan and Syria, noting the importance of Syrian stability for regional security. He affirmed Jordan's support for Syria's reconstruction efforts and the continuation of voluntary return policies for Syrian refugees.
In closing, Hassan addressed the youth of Jordan, expressing hope that the country would continue to be a place where they can achieve their ambitions and find rewarding opportunities, thereby strengthening their sense of belonging to the nation.
