Amman: Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Azmi Mahafzeh and an Iraqi delegation discussed academic cooperation and international accreditation. According to Jordan News Agency, the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Educational Institutions in Iraq, Yaqoub Saeed, along with key representatives from various Iraqi universities, attended the meeting to explore collaborative opportunities. The Iraqi delegation included the President of Al-Kitab University in Kirkuk, Iyad Barzanji, the President of Knowledge University in Erbil, Ahmed Anwar, the Dean of Al-Nukhbah University College in Baghdad, Jamil Al-Zaidi, Dean of Al-Qalam University College in Kirkuk, Latif Barzanji, and Sami Ali from Al-Nukhbah University College. Their visit aims to strengthen ties and establish cooperative agreements with Jordanian universities. The delegates are on an official visit to Jordan, which includes touring several universities to evaluate potential areas for partnership and to formalize agreements tha t would enhance academic exchange and collaboration between the two countries.
