Amman: Jordan Media Commission (JMC) on Wednesday instructed all local and accredited foreign media outlets to comply with the Ministry of Education's new guidelines for regulating coverage of General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) students during exams.
According to Jordan News Agency, the Ministry of Education banned filming activities, live broadcasts, or media interviews at or around Tawjihi exam halls during testing sessions unless prior authorization is obtained from the commission.
The ministry stated that the measure is designed to provide a "stable" exam environment for Tawjihi students, allowing them to stay away from distractions and external pressures.
Furthermore, the ministry expressed gratitude towards media organizations for their coverage and support of the Kingdom's education sector.
