Jordan, Nigeria Discuss Social Development Cooperation

Amman: Minister of Social Development Wafaa Bani Mustafa on Thursday met with Nigeria's Minister of Social Affairs Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim on the sidelines of the 45th session of the Council of Arab Ministers for Social Affairs and the high-level Arab conference on implementing the declaration of the Second World Summit for Social Development. During the meeting, Bani Mustafa reviewed the social programs and services provided by Jordan's Ministry of Social Development to target groups and discussed avenues for cooperation and coordination between the two countries.

According to Jordan News Agency, Bani Mustafa emphasized the importance of exchanging experiences in the social field and benefiting from best practices in the design and delivery of social programs and services. The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and exploring innovative approaches to social development.

The Nigerian minister praised the social programs implemented in Jordan, highlighting the significance of sharing expertise across various initiatives. The meeting underscored the mutual interest in strengthening ties and fostering collaboration in the realm of social development.
