Amman: Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and Oman's Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi engaged in discussions on Sunday regarding regional developments and their impact on regional security and stability.
According to Jordan News Agency, during a phone call, the ministers underscored the urgency of enhancing diplomatic initiatives to curb the current escalation in the region. They advocated for prioritizing dialogue and peaceful resolutions to avert further instability.
Safadi and Albusaidi also highlighted the necessity of adhering to international law, ensuring the security and freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, and protecting the interests of regional populations, state sovereignty, and stability.
