The Planning Minister of Jordan and Governor of Jordan at the Islamic Development Bank Group, Zeina Toukan, Sunday headed the Jordanian delegation participating in the annual meetings of the Board of Governors of the Islamic Development Bank Group.
Entitled “Establishing Partnerships to Prevent Crisis,” the meetings that were held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, focused on supporting economic recovery and resilience in member states facing financial and economic challenges.
Toukan said that the Bank had re-aligned its strategy for 2023-2025 to suit the needs of member states and enable them to counter challenges and enhance their resilience.
The strategy focuses on three areas of intervention: Promote recovery, combat poverty, build resilience and stimulate green economic growth.
