Jordan Phosphate Mines and Ukrainian Embassy Discuss Fertiliser Sector Collaboration


Amman: CEO of the Jordan Phosphate Mines Company (JPMC) Abdulwahab Rawad met with Ukrainian Ambassador to Jordan Myroslava Shcherbatiuk to discuss opportunities for cooperation in the phosphate fertiliser sector. Rawad emphasised the strong economic and trade ties between Jordan and Ukraine and highlighted the company’s commitment to expanding international partnerships in line with the Royal Vision to promote investment.



According to Jordan News Agency, Rawad affirmed JPMC’s readiness to collaborate with Ukraine to support its fertiliser needs and enhance the company’s global competitiveness. Shcherbatiuk expressed Ukraine’s interest in deepening cooperation with Jordan, particularly in the phosphate industry, and proposed arranging meetings between Ukrainian stakeholders and JPMC. She praised the company’s expertise and high standards in fertiliser production, describing the visit as productive and a solid foundation for future collaboration.
