Jordan Receives Ambulances to Boost Medical Support for Gaza

Amman: Jordan Armed Forces (JAF), through the Royal Medical Services (RMS), received three ambulances donated by Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan (AKFP), in collaboration with its branch Aghosh UK, aimed at bolstering Jordanian military field hospitals in Gaza.

According to Jordan News Agency, during the handover ceremony, RMS Director Brig. Gen. Sahil Hamouri emphasized that the ambulances would improve the capacity to manage critical cases and facilitate the transfer of patients from Gaza to Jordanian military hospitals. He acknowledged the support from the Pakistani organization as significant in this effort.

Waddah Kilani, AKFP Regional Director, stated that the aid forms part of a humanitarian duty toward Gaza, aligning with Jordan's continuous efforts to assist residents amidst the crisis. He further mentioned that the initiative symbolizes international solidarity with the Palestinian people and commitment to humanitarian causes.

Jordan, under the leadership of King Abdullah II, maintains its support for Gaza through various means, including airlifts, land convoys, medical supplies, and treatment at field hospitals.
