Amman: Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs, Ambassador Dhaifallah Fayez, on Monday received a copy of the credentials of Canadian Ambassador Louis-Martin Aumais, accrediting him as the resident ambassador to the Kingdom.
According to Jordan News Agency, the formal reception of credentials marks the beginning of Ambassador Louis-Martin Aumais's official duties in Jordan. This step signifies the strengthening of diplomatic relations between Jordan and Canada, paving the way for potential collaborations and discussions on a range of bilateral issues.
The meeting between Ambassador Fayez and Ambassador Aumais was held in the Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs, where they discussed various aspects of the cooperation between the two countries. The accreditation ceremony is a customary diplomatic practice, enabling ambassadors to officially represent their nations and engage in dialogues aimed at promoting mutual interests.
