Jordan Receives Omani Medical Aid to Enhance Gaza Field Hospitals

Amman: The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, through the Jordanian Royal Medical Services (JRMS) and in cooperation with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, received medical aid from Oman on Wednesday to support Jordan's medical and humanitarian efforts assisting the people of Gaza.

According to Jordan News Agency, the aid shipment includes medical supplies, equipment, and medicines, which will be delivered to Jordanian field hospitals operating in the Gaza Strip. Deputy Head of Mission at the Oman Embassy in Jordan, Yaqoub Ruqaishi, stated the assistance reflects Oman's commitment to supporting the humanitarian and relief efforts led by His Majesty King Abdullah II.

He noted that Oman will continue providing various forms of support to enhance the capabilities of Jordanian field hospitals and enable them to continue their humanitarian and medical mission in Gaza. The Field Medical Commander, representing the JRMS, expressed appreciation for the Omani initiative, describing it as a reflection of the strong ties between the two countries.

He further mentioned that the aid contributes to the JRMS' ongoing efforts to provide medical care to the injured and sick in Gaza and alleviate their suffering amid the difficult humanitarian conditions.
