This adjustment applies to both loaded and empty trucks transiting through Jordanian territory or entering and exiting Jordanian free zones, with a focus on road traffic services. In a press statement, the Ministry of Transport highlighted that this initiative was developed in collaboration with the ministries of finance, industry, and transport, as well as the Jordan Customs Department. The primary aim is to facilitate transit traffic and enhance the flow of goods between Jordan and Syria, thereby supporting mutual trade exchanges. The statement further noted that this decision resul ted directly from a recent visit by a Jordanian ministerial delegation to Syria. During the meetings, both nations agreed on a series of measures to reinforce joint economic activities and stimulate reciprocal transport and trade traffic.
