Amman: An agreement was signed on Saturday for Jordan to host the Arab Men's Volleyball Championship from October 4 to 14. HRH Princess Aya bint Faisal, President of the Jordan Volleyball Federation, attended the signing of the agreement. Farah Badarneh, Vice President of the Jordan Volleyball Federation, and Firas Halwaji, Secretary-General of the Arab Volleyball Federation signed the agreement.
According to Jordan News Agency, Jordan's hosting of the championship reflects the confidence of the Arab Volleyball Federation in the Jordan Volleyball Federation and its ability to organise and host Arab-level competitions. This is supported by its organisational experience and capabilities in managing major sporting events.
The agreement was signed on the final day of the inaugural Arab Women's Under-18 Volleyball Championship, hosted by the Jordan Volleyball Federation at the Sports Palace in Al-Hussein Youth City, with the participation of seven Arab national teams.
