Ministry of Investment Secretary-General, Commissioner-General of the Jordanian Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, Zaher Qatarneh, discussed with Under Secretary of Foreign Trade and Industry at the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Economy, Abdulla Al Saleh, prospects of enhancing economic, trade and investment relations between the two countries.

The officials discussed frameworks to develop economic and investment relations, expand the fruitful and promising partnership between the two countries, exchange expertise to boost the investment environment, and reviewed experiences in the registration and licensing of investment projects, in addition to investment opportunities in the two countries, according to a ministry statement.

Qatarneh stressed the deep relations between the two brotherly countries, noting that the UAE is a key strategic partner of Jordan and that the Kingdom is keen to elevate economic and investment cooperation between the two countries to higher levels and build on existing partnerships in many fields, especially investment.
