Jordan University Hospital Receives Advanced Eye Surgery Device

Manama: Jordan University Hospital has received a state-of-the-art R-evolution device for cataract and retinal surgeries, donated by the Modern Drug Store.

According to Jordan News Agency, during the handover ceremony on Monday, the hospital's Director General, Nader Bsoul, welcomed Taher Shakhshir, the Executive Director of Modern Drug Store. Bsoul expressed gratitude for the donation, highlighting its role in enhancing the hospital's ophthalmology services.

He emphasized that the cutting-edge technology of this device, which surpasses conventional systems, will enable the hospital to perform a higher number of retinal and cataract surgeries efficiently.

Shakhshir affirmed that the donation aligns with the company's commitment to corporate social responsibility and its ongoing efforts to support and develop national healthcare institutions. He stressed the importance of public-private partnerships in improving healthcare services.

Following the handover, company engineers conducted specialized training sessions for the hospital's medical staff on the device's installation, operation, and functionality.
