Amman:Jordan University Hospital recently received three children from the Gaza Strip who are suffering from heart conditions. This initiative is part of Jordan's ongoing humanitarian and medical efforts, spearheaded by His Majesty King Abdullah II, to alleviate the suffering of Palestinians.
According to Jordan News Agency, the children were welcomed under the Jordanian Medical Corridor initiative, demonstrating the Kingdom's commitment to providing assistance to Gaza residents. The Jordan Armed Forces facilitated the evacuation of the 36th group of sick children from Gaza, which included 26 children and their companions, to ensure they receive necessary medical treatment and care in Jordanian hospitals.
Dr. Nader Al-Busoul, the Hospital Director General, stated that receiving the children underscores Jordan's enduring commitment, under the leadership of His Majesty the King, to offering medical and humanitarian support to Palestinians. The hospital has prepared its medical resources and specialized staff to deliver high-quality medical care to the children arriving from Gaza.
Dr. Al-Busoul further noted that since August, more than 60 children from Gaza with complex medical conditions, such as congenital heart defects and blood and liver diseases, have been treated at Jordan University Hospital. While some have completed their treatment and returned home, others continue to receive medical care and follow-up.
The hospital has also extended healthcare services to the children's companions, showcasing its dedication to comprehensive medical and humanitarian care. The hospital reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining its medical and humanitarian mission, utilizing its resources and expertise to enhance the children's chances of recovery and ensure they complete their treatment.
