Amman: The Agricultural and Environment Statistics Directorate at the Department of Statistics, in collaboration with key stakeholders, has launched an initiative to update the national database for the beekeeping sector in Jordan. In a statement on Wednesday, Hosni Dajjah, the official spokesperson for the Department of Statistics, emphasized the critical role of cooperation between farmers and stakeholders in ensuring the success of this initiative. He noted that periodic data update is a vital process that provides detailed and comprehensive data on the beekeeping sector at a national level, adding that statistics support informed decision-making aimed at advancing the beekeeping industry and boosting production.
