Jordan Welcomes New Syrian Government’s Formation Announcement

Amman: The Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs welcomed the announcement of the formation of the new Syrian government, expressing its hope that this government will fulfill the aspirations of the brotherly Syrian people to live in freedom, equality, dignity, and peace after their long suffering.

According to Jordan News Agency, the Ministry's official Spokesperson, Ambassador Sufian Qudah, affirmed the Kingdom's keenness to deepen cooperation with the new Syrian government in various fields, reflecting the historical and strategic relationship between the two brotherly countries.

He also emphasized the need to build relations based on mutual respect, mutual support, and trust, and to address all issues in a manner that serves the interests of both countries.

Ambassador Qudah reaffirmed Jordan's unwavering commitment to aiding Syria's reconstruction on the basis of principles that maintain its stability, security, and unity.
