Jordan achieved a “high” ranking in “Entrepreneurship” Sub-Axis of Women, Business and the Law 2022 issued by the World Bank. In a post aired on its official website on social media platforms on Thursday, Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship said Jordan garnered a 90.9 score in the sub-axis of “Women in Entrepreneurship” on Female Opportunity Index issued by German Digital Bank for 2021. In celebration of International Girls in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Day on women participation indicators and statistics, the ministry indicated that female ICT alumni in Jordan in 2021 stood at 41%, according to the data released by Ministry of Higher Education. Meanwhile, the ministry said women employment rate in Jordan’s ICT sector reached 33%, based on a study on “Supply and Demand for CIT Alumni ” for 2021.
