Jordan Youth Muay Thai Fighters Excel with Six Medals in Libya

Amman: The national youth Muay Thai team of Jordan clinched six medals at the Arab Youth Championship held in Benghazi, Libya, showcasing their prowess with two golds, two silvers, and two bronzes. According to Jordan News Agency, Al-Rayan Izmqna delivered a stellar performance by securing one of Jordan's two gold medals in the 63.5kg category for the 16-17 age group. Ward Odeh also shone brightly, claiming the gold in the 48kg competition for athletes aged 12-13. Further adding to Jordan's medal tally, Nour Awad earned a silver medal in the girls' 51kg category for ages 14-15. Adam Shreim contributed another silver in the boys' 67kg event in the 16-17 age group. The bronze medal achievements were marked by Tala Al-Bazm in the 51kg category and Munther Hamad in the 60kg event, both competing in the 16-17 age group. The championship, which concluded on Wednesday, witnessed participation from around 300 male and female athletes representing 13 Arab countries. The competitions were held at the Expo Libya ex hibition grounds in Benghazi.
