Jordanian Expatriate Remittances Reach $4.1 Billion in 11 Months of 2025

Amman: Total remittances from Jordanian expatriate workers to the Kingdom increased by 4.6% during the first 11 months of last year, totaling $4.1 billion, while outgoing remittances from Jordan amounted to $1.6 billion.

According to Jordan News Agency, remittances to Jordan from the UAE ranked first out of the total figure at 21.8%, followed by money transfers from the United States at 19.0%. Saudi Arabia contributed 18.6% of the remittances, followed by Qatar at 9.6%, with other countries accounting for 31.0% of the total amounts.

As for outgoing remittances, Egypt was the primary destination, accounting for 40.4%, followed by Bangladesh at 10.7%, the UAE at 5.8%, and the Philippines at 5.3%. Other countries accounted for the remaining 37.8% of the total outgoing transfers.
