Gaza: The Jordanian field hospital in southern Gaza received dozens of casualties on Tuesday following Israel's renewed airstrikes on the Strip. Medical teams provided first aid and necessary treatment to the injured.
According to Jordan News Agency, the hospital's force commander stated that medical and therapeutic services were administered to those brought to the facility, with 24 injured individuals admitted due to Israeli shelling in Khan Yunis.
The hospital director detailed the nature of injuries, which included internal bleeding, abdominal surgical explorations, complex fractures, brain and arterial injuries, pneumothorax, hemorrhages around the lungs, and shrapnel wounds. The hospital's medical departments and facilities provided necessary treatment to the wounded.
Since commencing operations on January 12, the Jordanian field hospital in southern Gaza has treated 32,414 cases, conducted over 1,237 major and minor surgeries, and fitted approximately 403 upper and lower limbs as part of the Restore Hope Initiative in the Gaza Strip.
