Khan Yunis: Workers of the Jordanian Field Hospital, South Gaza/4, continued to provide their medical services to people in the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, in continuation of the makeshift facility's medical and humanitarian efforts to support Gazans' steadfastness and help them overcome their difficult circumstances due to the Israeli war. According to Jordan News Agency, the hospital commander stated that since their arrival at the mission site and the commencement of duties, the medical, nursing, and administrative staff have received 31,577 patients and performed 1,033 surgeries. The teams are actively working to implement His Majesty King Abdullah II's directives to provide the best medical service to assist families in overcoming the current crisis due to the ongoing war. The hospital director further elaborated that the medical staff has successfully performed 354 major surgeries and 679 minor operations thus far. Notably, 14 births and 783 admissions have been managed in the hospi tal's various wards during the current mission. In addition to these efforts, the hospital's medical staff has played a crucial role in implanting 185 prosthetic limbs for individuals who suffered leg amputations during the ongoing conflict in the strip. This initiative is part of the "Restoring Hope" program, launched under Royal directives to support amputees in Gaza. Since November 20 of last year, the hospital in the southern Gaza Strip has extended its medical and therapeutic services to a total of 252,508 patients, illustrating its vital role in providing healthcare during these challenging times.
