Tunis: Minister of Education, Dr. Azmi Mahafzeh, on Tuesday commended the students' performance, who engaged in the 16th edition of the Arab Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Championship held in Tunisia from April 10-14.

According to Jordan News Agency, Mahafzeh stated that Jordanian students demonstrated excellence during their international engagement, with six schools from the Ministry of Education participating. Among these, five were public schools, while Hadara'at School was private.

Wadi Mousa Comprehensive School For Boys, affiliated with Petra Education Directorate, achieved first place in the "advanced ball-collecting competition" at the Arab world level. King Abdullah II School for Excellence, Zarqa branch, secured third place at the Arab level in the Youth Innovation Competition.

Additionally, Universal Civilizations Academy (UCA) earned second and third places in the "Beginner and Advanced Line Tracing Competition." Khalda Secondary School for Girls in Amman took first place in the "Youth Innovation" category.

Marka School for Hearing Impaired Students in Amman won the Qatar Science Club Award in the "Beginner Line Tracing Competition," while Abu Bakr Razi School in Amman received the Jury Award in the "Advanced Line Tracing Competition."
