Jordan’s Civil Defense Handles 1,599 Incidents in a Single Day

Amman: Jordan's Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) managed 1,599 incidents over the past 24 hours, encompassing 1,333 emergency cases, 129 rescue incidents, and 137 fires.

According to Jordan News Agency, the CDD reported an average response time of 7 minutes and 15 seconds for emergency cases, while response times for rescue and firefighting incidents were 7 minutes and 35 seconds, and 7 minutes and 37 seconds, respectively.

The CDD emphasized its readiness to manage all types of incidents and urged citizens to follow public safety guidelines. They advised the public to report any emergencies using the unified emergency number, 911.
