Jordan’s Government Service Centers Process 3.45 Million Transactions by June

Amman: Jordan's comprehensive government service centers have completed approximately 3.45 million transactions by the end of last June, with these facilities receiving about 1,324,726 visitors. According to Jordan News Agency, Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Sami Smeirat, emphasized the centers' role as a crucial component in providing citizens with efficient services.

The minister highlighted that these centers align with the Kingdom's vision to enhance the citizen experience and ensure transparency and fairness in service delivery. The centers aim to provide an integrated service-focused environment in a single location, reflecting Jordan's commitment to improving public service provision.

Smeirat further mentioned that the ministry is actively working on developing the centers' performance and expanding their geographical reach. This effort is in line with the goals of Jordan's economic and administrative modernization, ensuring comprehensive access and promoting digital justice.

The ministry's continuous upgrade process includes integrating the latest technologies and recruiting trained staff to offer effective government services. This initiative seeks to meet citizens' aspirations and boost their satisfaction and trust in public institutions.

Currently, nine comprehensive government service centers are operational, with seven more expected to launch nationwide by the end of 2025. These centers are designed to enhance citizens' access to public services, particularly in regions with high population density.
