Amman: Jordan's comprehensive government service centres processed a total of 4,117,550 transactions by the end of last September and welcomed 1,657,763 visitors. According to Jordan News Agency, Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Sami Smeirat, emphasized the importance of these centres in enhancing citizens' confidence in public services and streamlining procedures, aligning with the Kingdom's visions for economic and administrative modernization. Smeirat stated that the ministry currently operates nine government service centres across the Kingdom's governorates and plans to increase this number to 16 facilities in the near future. This expansion aims to ensure service delivery to citizens at their locations and provide an environment conducive to the efficient completion of transactions. These centres are considered a model for integrating digital and direct services, contributing to raising the efficiency of the government sector and improving the quality of life for citizens. The minis try is committed to developing these centres to offer new services, in line with modernization goals, as directed by His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince. Visitors have praised the services, highlighting the cooperation of employees, which facilitated the completion of paperwork without any issues. They noted that the staff are responsible and work efficiently to certify documents promptly. The first centre was established in Amman's Muqablin neighborhood and currently provides 153 government services through 29 institutions.
